Our country’s multicultural elites—from President Obama’s “green jobs czar” Van Jones to the top brass at Wal Mart and CVS—are joining forces in an attempt to silence Fox News commentator Glenn Beck. His “crimes”? Among other things, he’s turned the tables on the elites by accusing President Obama of racism and racial hatred. He has also, correctly, pointed out that many of Obama’s advisers have openly espoused Marxism. And he has called on the American people to take back their own country.
If this were Canada or Europe, crushing a right-winger would be a snap: all you have to do is haul him before a “human rights tribunal” (packed, of course, with ultra-leftist judges), accuse him of “racial hatred,” and off to jail he goes.
In the U.S., however, we still have that pesky First Amendment with its free-speech guarantees, so the rich and powerful have to use a different tactic. In this case, it’s the good old-fashioned power of the dollar. Dozens of heavy hitters are boycotting Fox in the hopes that the network will cave to the economic pressure, and give Beck the boot.
Americans of all political persuasions who value their freedom must fight back. Tell the companies that are using your dollars in an attempt to stifle free speech what you think… and remember, the managements of these companies may or may not truly believe in what they’re doing. They may simply be cowering before Presidential power run amok—an even scarier thought!

I agree with the boycott against these companies. Also, Walmart sponsors ABC world news tonight, today I listened while Charles Gibson the news anchor denied knowing anything about the March on Washington and the ACORN corruption tapes. He was laughing when the Chicago radio anchors asked him about the coverage. Pretty good uh? They ignore everything the socialsits do and concentrate on belittling Sarah Palin and her children. BOYCOTT WALMART!

I just called CVS and they claim they never advertised with you. In any case, I told them I will stop shopping there until they have this corrected on your site. I do support Glenn Beck but I am concerned that according to CVS they never advertised with Glenn Beck.

What exactly does it mean to “take back one’s country”?

Undoubtedly these bastards have someone reading these comments. They should note that most people outraged by such behavior don’t bother to phone or write to register their protests but will recall a business name and never purchase from them again. This is the last straw with me for WalMart, where I bought a television five or six years ago. I haven’t been back since and won’t go back if for no other reason because I can’t stand looking at the other customers and the employees that remind me of what America has become.

They may have won the freedom for blacks to sit on the local bus. But while you were sleeping they enslaved everyone to debt. But don’t worry. They will give you a fireworks display on the 4th of July to celebrate your freedom from tyranny. What a bunch of bull shit. Glenn Beck is a good man and he deserves some credit for trying. I can only hope he can make a difference. Not holding my breath.
The comments in this article just illustrate how clueless people are about what the Constitution actually says and how blind they are to their own hypocrisy.
The First Amendment protects individual free speech by preventing Congress from passing laws infringing on your personal speech. It does NOT by any stretch of the imagination guarantee you or any citizen the right their own nationally syndicated Cable TV show with multi-million dollar salary. Glen Beck’s show is a PRODUCT, people, and consumers and advertisers do NOT, in a free country and free market economy, have to support or associate themselves with a product they do not like.
The company boycotts of GB are an expression of those company’s free speech, as are the proposed boycotts of the boycotters.Boycott all you want. Just don’t be hypocritical about it and call the original boycott of GB an attack on the Constitution and free speech when (a) it’s not by any stretch and (b) you dummies are doing the exact same thing by boycotting those companies who are expressing their contrary opinions.

JFK’s administration actively used the Fairness Doctrine to silence republicans. Their Comm. Director (or some such thing) admitted to doing this.
Others on the left have used the Tax Code to silence opposition - sometimes successfully - sometimes not. A recently effort is plainly displayed in the left’s response to the statements of “Joe The Plumber.” Rush Limbaugh is audited every year (Is that a requirement? Is this done to ALL multimillionaires?).
Good luck finding evidence of these practices being used by conservatives.

I thought we had free speech in this country. But a boycott against Glenn Beck by some Corporations demonstrate there are ways to get around free speech - that there are ways to punish this freedom. Ironic that that they use one part of the First Amendment - Freedom of expression, to boycott to punish another part of the First Amendment - Freedom of speech..

I’m new to this website, and I find there is a lot of truth here. However, seeing my fellow patriotic Americans defend Glenn Beck dissapoints me. Glenn Beck, like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, etc, are no friends to White Americans. Does Beck ever talk about the Israeli lobby, the Jewish controlled media, or Holocaust Truth? Is Beck against globalization? Is he for or against “free” trade with cheap labor countries? How does he feel about Affirmative action, or our government and media lying to get the American people to support wars for Israel? Does he talk about the SPLC or ADL, and explain what their purpose really is?
I’m no expert on Glenn Beck, but are my above observations incorrect?
Our greatest enemies are not the liberals because we can see them coming and we know they are dangerous. But the neo-conservatives are sneaky, they say some good things on immigration or free speech and get us to believe that they are on our side, and then they stab us in the back when we want to talk about globalization, White genocide, and the Jewish supremacist control over our banks and media companies.
Has anyone contacted these companies? I contacted P&G after I had been under the impression that P&G were one of the leaders of the Glenn Beck boycott.

I just love Glenn Beck. He proves EVERYTHING he says with facts, video and audio. He makes NOTHING up! He has a huge research team. He’s not a loser sitting in his parents basement typing away on some blog. He’s NOT a conspiracy theorist. Nothing he says is a “theory”, it’s ALL fact! I will contact (and boycott) these businesses who are bowing down to the occupant of the White House. When the President of the United States of America is personally behind stiffling free speech (and acurate speech) in favor of his indoctrination agenda, there is a BIG problem in our country! Obama is NOT a king or a dictator (yet) and he should be more concerned about protecting our country and citizens than bringing down a talk show host! Mr. Obama needs to get his priorities straight if he wants ANY respect.
I was a life-long drinker of Pepsi. When they started using the BO-like logo I switched to Coke and never looked back. I’ll happily shop at BJ’s instead of Sam’s Club (WalMart owned), KMart and Target instead of WalMart, Walgreens and Rite Aid instead of CVS and everywhere else other than best Buy and the others. Does he not know that the Leader of Canada is the leader of the “Conservative Party”. ALSO he can’t offer any proof of that ever happening in Canada. I am as proud a Canadian as he is an American. It pisses me off when anyone, no mater there political party, maligns another with false information only to garner suport for thier belief. And being a popular personality on a top rated news station adds to my disgust.
Not that I dont catch any of his shows … as I have always said .. “I am fair and balanced”. Last night when I was sent this link I was watching his show about George Washington, but I turned him off after he spoused that people always take George’s words out of context, and the Beck proceded to state that Georges mention of a “higher power” some 60 times in his writings “Proveing” that Gearge believed in the Christion “GOD” and that he was not some crazy “Diest” who just believes that there is a higher power but does not want to lable it.
WOW … thats about the last straw I have for Glen Beck … I have even heard him say the only chance America has is to embrace Chrianity and Jesus, and that only true Americans do … that kind of banter only fuels the fires of intolerance.

I would like to let you know that I don’t like the left do business. If you don’t do things your way they plan on confronting companies and let them know they will boycott. I am sick and tire of the hard line politics they use. They don’t want anyone to speak unless it agrees with them. We have had enough. If you boycott Glen Beck we will not buy any thing from your store. His ratings have gone up so why are they so afraid. We are still a free country with a president that has a very thin skin. He does like anyone criticizing him but he doesn’t want anyone to say only good about him. When the people first came to this land they did because they were not allowed to practice there religion in Europe. Seeing other Americans who support Glenn Beck is very heart-breaking. Plus, the companies can do what they like with their money. If they choose to remove advertising, well, that’s their choice. So what if there is government influence? It’s not like Wal-Mart is directly run by the government; they’re making their own choices.

Yes I’m gaining an appreciation for Mr. Beck’s wisdom. After listening to his comments over the last few days I threw my worthless Purple Heart in the trash. It will be difficult, but I need to write the parents of my friends who received theirs posthumously and let them know the Purple Heart amounts to nothing more than a marksmanship badge for the enemy, so they too, may want to discard their son’s PH. Thank you for setting us straight, Mr. Beck. I must inquire, though, if I’m somehow qualified to receive one of Mr. Beck’s cool medals for the 19 Communists I killed—even though one of them besmirched my service record by using me to qualify for his marksmanship medal—posthumously.
It will be a rather delicate conversation, but it’s only appropriate for me to tell my “half white” grandchildren that their ignorance really isn’t their fault (they were born that way?), and of course I’ll have to ask them why they hate white people so much. If they’re at all upset about Mr. Beck’s statements I will simply point out the them that he did apologize later and that proves he is a man good character.
Other than that, I’ll plan on boycotting Wal-Mart and buying me some gold, as will all Real Americans who support this REAL patriot.

This is so true. I and many other Europeans look and marvel at the level of free speech American commentators enjoy. Here in Britain,and Europe those voices are demonised in an instant, especially in the MSM. In Austria, Francec and Germany you will be sent straight to jail if you say certain things (Fact). America must never lose that right to free speech. If that is lost the lights of liberty will go out across the entire West. Socialism has almost completely destroyed the UK. On the surface it doesn’t look like it but the underlying belly of communism is in every part of our lives.
I spent five years living in the Czech republic and spoke with many people who lived under the communist regime. The similarities between then and now are remarkable an dmany o fmy Czech friends were and still are dead against the EU because they can see it for what it really is but like everyone else they had no say in the matter.
