The Pathology of the Rich Socialist

George Soros
People such as George Soros and Michael Moore certainly talk a good game, but the next Mother Teresa they are not. Mother Teresa never criticized the free-market system; wealth just wasn’t for her. Soros and Moore are quite the opposite. They will never take a vow of poverty and dedicate themselves to helping the poor. They just want our civilization to take a vow of poverty and become poor.
This has caused many to wonder: How can someone preach socialism while being the most rapacious “capitalist” imaginable? Well, I have a theory about this.
It has often been observed that those who preach liberalism the most practice charity the least, and research bears this out. For example, in a piece titled “Bleeding Heart Tightwads,” self-proclaimed liberal Nicholas Kristof wrote,
Arthur Brooks, the author of a book on donors to charity, ‘Who Really Cares,’ cites data that households headed by conservatives give 30 percent more to charity than households headed by liberals. A study by Google found an even greater disproportion: average annual contributions reported by conservatives were almost double those of liberals.
Then there is a fascinating article by Peter Schweizer, titled “Don’t listen to the liberals — Right-wingers really are nicer people, latest research shows.” In defense of this thesis, the author presents some scientific findings and then a bit of anecdotal evidence, writing,
Most surprising of all is reputable research showing those on the Left are more interested in money than Right-wingers.
Both the World Values Survey and the General Social Survey reveal that Left-wingers are more likely to rate ‘high income’ as an important factor in choosing a job, more likely to say “after good health, money is the most important thing,” and more likely agree with the statement “there are no right or wrong ways to make money.”
You don’t need to explain that to Doug Urbanski, the former business manager for Left-wing firebrand and documentary-maker Michael Moore. “He [Moore] is more money-obsessed than anyone I have known — and that’s saying a lot,” claims Urbanski.

George Soros is one of the most despicable men on the planet. I think a further read that will help many understand this ’so misunderstood Jewish boy.’ So, I suggest a piece on how some people’s perceptions and actions are not only based on who they are but - all too often - what they are:

I don’t think George Soros is really a socialist, I just think he knows a good investment when he sees it. We shouldn’t ignore his background either. There is a long history of Eastern European Jews who have been blood thirsty capitalist vampires during the day and pious saint-like patrons of the far left at night. Michael Moore, on the other hand, is simply a hypocrite.

You are absolutely right. Words like capitalism and socialism mean absolutely nothing to the “chosen” elite. Each is just a different path to the same destination, power and control. They move seamlessly between these seemingly opposite ideologies, because in reality, the membrane separating them is an illusion. Words like capitalism and socialism only mean absolutes to the proles who do not understand the game. Yesterdays commissar is today’s oligarch, and vice versa.
A real life experience can come from dating a Leftist but be prepared to have your heart crushed and abused. In the three years of attending to a girlfriend that proclaimed that I was evil and that she was good I got some valuable but pricey first hand exposure. A good education is not acquired on the cheap!
She was greedy in spirit. It was all about her. A part of her was weighted down, diminished if others succeeded. As for others, she was way too preoccupied on proscribing on what others should do and this kept her from tending to what she should do. As for generosity, the general public could be taxed and controlled for charity but not herself. Her coin was most precious and mine was expendable even though she made many times what I did.
She could talk a mean talk about equality for all races but in reality she lived a life that she did not preach, keeping safely to her own race, it’s neighborhoods and her own educational background.
Her finest personal deceit was the neat trick and slight of hand to lie by omission. In the end she was caught cheating on me not once but twice and shame on me for the second time. As a woman, as a liberal, she would have been horribly violated if I had done the same to her in cheating but for her, it was justifiable and the damage done, “Not her Problem!”.
Was she a happy person? She was tormented at vulnerable times. Her atheistic notions cracked as she cried out to God as to why he gave her so many issues to deal with like physical weakness. We were hiking in the Rockies and she fell apart. She secretly suffered guilt and would break out into hives over the stress. Her bumper sticker mentality of, Think Globally Act Locally, gave her a free out to not be concerned with those close to her but I think that like Ebeneezer Scrooge she was fettered with self made weight that she did see from time to time but it was far easier to feel like a victim for the burden than to change. It was cathartic to rant and rage at everyone else but not herself. All in all, she was not a happy person, not content, not fully developed but lost and fit to wander for eternity seeking some illusive satisfaction like a miser.
At this rolling time of year of Christmas, I know that she has to think back for a brief moment as I portrayed the Ghost of Jacob Marley for 14 years in some Christmas event and for her, The Ghost of Christmas Past my first year as Marley.
Soros is free of such Christian proscribes for developing a soul and Moore is too successful for much introspection. These potentates have tremendous influence over vast numbers. What I talked about shows how destructive such Leftest mentality can be to those close at hand.
