A View Of Obama From The Trenches Of White Nationalism

As Sam Dickson, a Georgia attorney and American Renaissance fixture, put it in the conference's closing remarks (in which he offered a "modest proposal" to create a separate "white homeland" in the United States):

HERNDON, Va. — The prospect of Barack Obama becoming America’s first black president drew scant attention and little overt alarm among the 250 white nationalists at this past weekend’s biennial American Renaissance Conference.

“I got an e-mail from a fairly prominent person, ‘You should be rooting for an Obama presidency because that would send money and support surging your way,’” said Jared Taylor, the event’s convener and the movement’s most euphonious voice.

But, Taylor said, “I really don’t think that’s true. I don’t think many white people will say, ‘This is the last straw.’”

Those who already “see the world” as he does, Taylor said, “will see this as yet another step, perhaps an inevitable one, in this direction.”

Indeed, many here regarded Obama, contrasted with Republican John McCain, as the lesser of two evils.

Taylor is the founder of American Renaissance, a newsletter and Web site, which since 1994 has sponsored conferences every two years where white men in suits and ties — and a handful of white women — listen to speakers talk about white genetic and cultural superiority and, with increasing urgency, lament the peril to the U.S. national character of mass immigration from places other than Europe.

Top psychiatrist concludes liberals clinically nuts

Eminent psychiatrist makes case ideology is mental disorder

WASHINGTON – Just when liberals thought it was safe to start identifying themselves as such, an acclaimed, veteran psychiatrist is making the case that the ideology motivating them is actually a mental disorder.

“Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded,” says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, “The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness.” “Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave.”

While political activists on the other side of the spectrum have made similar observations, Rossiter boasts professional credentials and a life virtually free of activism and links to “the vast right-wing conspiracy.”

For more than 35 years he has diagnosed and treated more than 1,500 patients as a board-certified clinical psychiatrist and examined more than 2,700 civil and criminal cases as a board-certified forensic psychiatrist. He received his medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago.

Rossiter says the kind of liberalism being displayed by the two major candidates for the Democratic Party presidential nomination can only be understood as a psychological disorder.

Details emerge of Okinawan girl’s alleged rape encounter with “terrifying” Marine

"While kids born in Koza know what benefits the bases have brought the area, they also know really well just how scary the American military can be,"

U.S. Marines are dangerous, screams Shukan Shincho (2/21) and the junior high schoolgirl knew that for sure, but still ended up going along with the staff sergeant now under arrest for raping her — a charge he vehemently denies.

U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Tyrone Luther Hadnott apparently met the 14-year-old girl the weekly refers to by the pseudonym “Chiaki Hibi” in a place called Koza Music Town, an entertainment area in the city of Okinawa.

At about 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 10, Hadnott rode into the area on his Harley Davidson and began talking to a group of three schoolgirls, including Chiaki, who had just attended a fashion show at Koza Music Town.

“Chiaki was originally part of a group of five, but by 8:30 there were only three of them still hanging out together. Hadnott asked Chiaki something like where she’d bought the knit hat she was wearing. They got talking in a mix of English and Japanese, and after about four or five minutes, Chiaki asked him if he’d give her a ride on his bike as a joke. He said ‘OK,’ and that’s how she got on the bike,” an investigation insider tells Shukan Shincho.

The Return of Ethnic Nationalism

Does Balkanization Beckon Anew?

by Patrick J. Buchanan

In Africa last week, President Bush deplored the genocide in Rwanda in the 1990s, defended his refusal to send U.S. troops to Darfur and decried the ethnic slaughter in Kenya.

Following a fraudulent election, the Kikuyu, the dominant tribe in Kenya, have been subjected to merciless assault. People are separating from one another and butchering one another along lines of blood and soil.

According to a compelling lead article in the new Foreign Affairs, “Us and Them: The Enduring Power of Ethnic Nationalism,” we may be witnessing in the Third World a re-enactment of the ethnic wars that tore Europe to pieces in the 20th century.

“Ethnonationalism,” writes history professor Jerry Z. Muller of Catholic University, “has played a more profound role in modern history than is commonly understood, and the processes that led to the dominance of the ethnonational state and the separation of ethnic groups in Europe are likely to recur elsewhere.”

Western Man has mistaught himself his own history.

Writes Muller: “A familiar and influential narrative of 20th-century European history argues that nationalism twice led to war, in 1914 and then again in 1939. Thereafter, the story goes, Europeans concluded that nationalism was a danger and gradually abandoned it. In the post-war decades, Western Europeans enmeshed themselves in a web of transnational institutions, culminating in the European Union.”

Citizens drive to end illegal immigration

"They're ticked at illegal immigrants, ... because they were the ones that played by the rules," Mark Jaworowski said. "..., and they don't like the fact that others can jump in line and get ahead and demand certain rights."

As a Stafford County task force tries to assess the effects of illegal immigration, some of its residents have started tackling the issue themselves.

Save Stafford is a group of about 90 residents who are exerting pressure on the state and county to crack down on illegal immigration.

Mark Jaworowski, 52, a Hampton Oaks resident, is a co-founder of the group.

He said he started Save Stafford because the federal government has ignored the anti-illegal-immigration sentiment in the country.

“I was really upset at the federal government’s inability to listen to the citizenry,” Jaworowski said. “I thought since our congresspeople are not listening, why don’t we start with the Board of Supervisors?”

Since the group’s launch in October, Save Stafford members have attended the Illegal Immigration Task Force’s public hearings about Stafford’s undocumented population. The task force includes members from county agencies such as Social Services, schools, the Health Department and law enforcement.

In addition, Save Stafford has expressed its concerns in meetings with Del. Mark Cole and House of Delegates Speaker William Howell.

The group wants Stafford to follow the lead of Prince William County, where officials recently voted to deny illegal immigrants county services.

‘The white working class feels alienated, threatened and voiceless,’ says BBC boss

There's a large group of people who feel politically alienated, threatened economically and stifled socially. They feel they haven't got a voice

The white working classes feel “politically alienated” and frightened to speak out, a senior BBC executive has claimed.

Richard Klein said poorer whites believe they are “threatened economically and stifled socially” and that they no longer have a voice.

Mr Klein, the corporation’s commissioning editor for documentaries, has courted controversy before.

He previously admitted that the political correctness the BBC is frequently accused of is at odds with many of its viewers.

His latest comments come ahead of a season of BBC2 programmes under the banner White, which he is overseeing and which he believes can play a part in easing the anxieties of that section of the community.

He said: “You don’t hear white, working-class opinions often enough on TV.

Local governments should enact immigration laws, former Justice official says

The arrival of immigrants to some communities, particularly smaller ones, drives up the costs of providing services while revenue often stays the same

A former Justice Department official said today that local governments should enact their own laws to address illegal immigration.

Kris Kobach, who served as former U.S. attorney general John Ashcroft’s chief adviser on immigration and border security, said there are several areas in which states may pass laws, such as sanctions against employers who hire illegal immigrants, restricting access to secondary education, and not allowing undocumented immigrants to have driver licenses.

Kobach spoke this morning to a gathering of the conservative Eagle Forum in Birmingham.

Kobach, who travels the country to work on immigration cases, touted Arizona’s success in becoming the first state to require that employers use the federal “E-Verify” system. The programs allows employers to determine whether employees are in the country legally.

The baby-boomers finally see sense on immigration

Without fellow-citizen favouritism, the nation-state ceases to have much meaning

Last week’s green paper on immigration and citizenship used a rhetoric that would have been unthinkable 10 years ago. Jacqui Smith, the Home Secretary, talked about ‘earned citizenship’ and restricting certain welfare benefits to those who have achieved full citizenship, after at least six years ‘on probation’. This is the same government that has overseen the biggest-ever migration into Britain and has been more positive about minority rights, multiculturalism and an ‘open Britain’ than any in our history. Grasping this apparent conflict requires an understanding of the learning curve of the liberal, baby-boom generation.

Most of today’s cabinet were students in the 1970s and 1980s. If their student union had been debating the motion ‘The nation-state is a bloodstained anachronism’, most of them would probably have voted for it. And why not? I was there too and we were growing up in the shadow of nationalism’s 20th-century horrors. Indeed, we liberal baby-boomers were children of a historic shift in Western political attitudes in which the ancient ideal of the moral equality of all humans came to be enshrined in both national and international law, most famously in the UN Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. Only 30 years before, a proposal that a clause on racial equality be included in the covenant of the League of Nations was rejected by all the major Western powers. Yet by the 1950s, after two world wars and the Holocaust, nationalism, at least in the West, had been partly discredited and the legitimacy of racial and even social hierarchies was shattered. For the first time, the idea of equal citizenship, both within and between countries, began to become a reality; indeed, it was one of the driving forces behind the generational upheaval of the 1960s.

Latest GMI Poll Reveals Many African-Americans Are Not Open to Interracial Marriage

“In African-American culture, interracial marriage can be tricky." said Lawrence Martin Johnson Pratt

Seattle, Wash. (PRWEB) February 22, 2008—The latest GMI Poll, powered by global market intelligence solutions provider GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), reveals that even though most African-Americans know an interracial couple, less than half (49 percent) said they would consider marrying someone outside of their race.

GMI interviewed a representative sample of 1,285 African-Americans in December 2007. The interviews were conducted online using GMI’s panel and data collection software.

“In African-American culture, interracial marriage can be tricky. Acceptance is high, but there are minefields to overcome,” says Lawrence Martin Johnson Pratt, host of the Technocolorradioshow, a technology information FM radio show for African-Americans in New York (90.3FM WHCR). “In-laws are an issue for any couple, but African-American in-laws can be particularly critical. Racial loyalty is an issue, but generally it’s one the individual has to overcome. Many black women have an internalized stereotypical belief that non African-American men would not find them attractive. The good news is, in the last 20 years, racism, as a reason to shy away from interracial marriage, has become less and less of an issue.”

Another Carpentersville resident’s identity stolen — this one 7 years old

Centeno said he has used the Social Security card with the victim's information to obtain a truck, three ... jobs, gas and electrical service for his home, a credit card, unemployment benefits twice for ... six months, and over $60,000 in pay and services

Another Carpentersville resident has gotten a notice from the IRS, demanding back taxes on income.

The IRS says the resident owes taxes on $60,000.

Only this victim is 7. Yes, a second-grader.

He’s the latest Carpentersville resident, police said Friday, to fall victim to identity theft.

He may, however, be the youngest.

His identity has been in use by someone else since 2001.

Detectives accused a Streamwood man of using the boy’s personal information not long after the boy was born in 2001.

Cirilo Centeno, 29, of 1101 Sunnydale Blvd., was charged with felony identity theft, an offense that could land him in jail for between four and 15 years if he is convicted.

The victim’s mother claimed the boy as a dependent on her 2007 income tax and was informed by the IRS she could not — that his Social Security number was being used by someone else.
