BUFFALO, N.Y. — A federal jury awarded a white man $150,000 in a racial discrimination lawsuit Wednesday.

Mark Pasternak, who is white, said he was dismissed from his state job helping troubled youths because he could not tolerate being called names like “cracker,” “polack” and “stupid white boy.”

A seven-member all-white jury found that Tommy Baines, who is black, discriminated against Pasternak and created a hostile work environment.

“I’m elated and overwhelmed,” Pasternak told The Buffalo News Wednesday. “I feel like I’ve been to hell and back … After all these years, the best feeling is, the jury heard his story and mine, and they believed me.”

Pasternak’s attorney, David Seeger, said his client took abuse from Baines for three years while the two men worked with an agency formerly known as the state Division for Youth. The facility is no longer in operation.

Baines subjected Pasternak to race-based slurs, job sabotage and crude insults in front of co-workers, according to court papers and testimony.

Tulsa - Tens of thousands of Hispanics have left the Tulsa area. And, a law designed to crack down on illegal immigration hasn’t even taken effect yet. But, there’s a catch.

East Tulsa is where the majority of Hispanics ended up settling. They came by the thousands and now they’re leaving that way, too. And, it’s all because of one word — deportation.

Business owner Simon Navarro came to America for a better life. And, he found one on Tulsa’s east side.

“I have 11 years here in Tulsa,” he says.

But, a tough new state law has much of Tulsa’s immigrant population fleeing for fear of deportation.

“Two months ago I heard 25-thousand Hispanics have left Oklahoma,” Navarro says.

That is about 30-percent of Oklahoma’s Hispanic population.

I usually don’t write about skin color, although I have done so sporadically in the past. However, the amount of hatred and racism against whites is now becoming so aggressive, palpable and indeed publicly accepted in much of the world that perhaps I should write another essay about it. Let me start briefly here.

It is noticeable how aggressive many Leftists have become against whites, parallel to Muslim immigration. I think the Leftist logic goes something like this: We failed to achieve our Socialist society during the Cold War. The “white,” Western culture blocked our goals. Since a Socialist society is good, those blocking it are evil, hence whites are evil and need to be subdued and destroyed, even if this includes our own sons, daughters and grandchildren. Utopia requires a Villain Class to be smashed and sacrificed. In the global, Multicultural Utopia, this appears to be whites in general.

I have heard Mexicans in the USA state that white Americans should “go home” to Europe. Of course, if they do go back to Europe, they will find that portions of Europe are increasingly unlivable for whites. We’re not supposed to have a “home.”

I’m sure the British are told that they are swamped by immigration because they used to be a colonial power. But mass immigration to countries such as Norway, Sweden or Switzerland proves that this is not related to past colonial history, since we don’t have any. It is related to one, and only one thing: We are born white. That makes us evil, hence destroying us and our heritage is a good thing. Dozens of nations across an entire continent are being deliberately destroyed and the natives stripped off their lands and culture. This represents perhaps the greatest crime of our age yet it is hardly talked about, and if it is, it is celebrated. 2008 is supposed to be a pan-European year for celebrating diversity, while the natives from Britain via Denmark to Germany, the Netherlands, France and Spain can hardly walk the streets in many of their major cities without being harassed.

SAN FRANCISCO – Shiite vs. Sunni. Red state vs. Blue state. Immigrant vs. native.

While it may appear that conflict is an inevitable part of interaction between groups, research actually suggests that fighting, hating and contempt between groups is not a necessary part of human nature, according to an Ohio State University professor of psychology.

“There’s still this belief that a group’s cohesion depends on conflict with other groups, but the evidence doesn’t support that,” said Marilynn Brewer of Ohio State .

“Despite evidence to the contrary, you still see this theory in the research literature and in many textbooks.”

Brewer has spent much of her career studying “ingroups” – the groups we belong to – and their relations with “outgroups” – those groups to which others belong.

She discussed the nature of these intergroup relations in her invited address Saturday Aug. 18 in San Francisco at the annual meeting of the American Psychological Association. The address was in honor of Brewer winning the 2007 Distinguished Scientific Contribution Award from the APA.

In her address, Brewer said recent evidence suggests that people’s attachment to their ingroups has nothing to do with conflict – or indeed any other kind of relation – to other groups.

The execution-style murder of three African-American college students in Newark, N.J., forced to kneel and shot in the head – allegedly by an illegal alien from Peru who was out on bail for the serial rape of a 5-year-old – has the makings of a Willie Horton issue in 2008.

Newark, like New York, is a “sanctuary city,” where cops are not to ask criminal suspects if they are in the country legally. Mitt Romney has been hammering Rudy Giuliani on the issue, trashing his tough-cop resume by painting the mayor as den mother of the Big Apple’s playpen for illegal aliens.

The arrest of Jose Carranza in that Newark massacre, amid reports he had Hispanic accomplices and the murders may have been part of a gang initiation, has also elevated the issue of the black-brown war raging in U.S. big cities.

In the Aug. 10 Washington Post story that covered the Carranza arrest, the same page had two related articles. One was headlined, “Study: Almost Half of Murder Victims Black,” the other, “Slaying of Popular Editor Stuns Blacks in Oakland.”

The second headline reveals an ideological slant. One would assume that everyone in Oakland was stunned by the daylight execution of African-American editor Chauncey Bailey, allegedly by a teenage foot soldier at Your Black Muslim Bakery, which Bailey was investigating.

A Tory minister from West Yorkshire has told how party chiefs advised her against standing in the next election because “the white community was not ready for two ethnic candidates”.

Shadow community cohesion minister Sayeeda Warsi, stood as the Conservative candidate in Dewsbury, in 2005, but lost to another Muslim, Labour’s Shahid Malik, by 4,615 votes.

She told the Yorkshire Post her local party said she would be a “fantastic MP”, but questioned whether a contest between two Muslims was the right way forward.

Baroness Warsi said: “The chairman said you’re the best candidate we’ve ever had, you would have made a fantastic MP for this town but at the moment, maybe because of the way that this community is, it still needs a bit of time on both sides. Maybe the white community is not ready for two ethnic candidates.”

International arrival and departure figures for Christchurch International Airport show a fall in the number of Chinese permanent arrivals from a peak of more than 1200 in 2003 to fewer than 50 last year.

The number of English people migrating to the city has increased from about 300 in 2001 to over 1000 last year.

The statistics are part of the Christchurch City Council’s Migrant Report 2007, due to be fully released at the end of this month.

The managing director of immigration website Move2NZ, Tammy Bell, said her site had 21,000 members, a quarter of whom were based in Britain.

British people migrating to New Zealand were often tradespeople looking for a better life for their families, she said.

“The reason that the Brits seem to be having a big increase is the fact the New Zealand Government is actively promoting New Zealand to them as a destination. There’s lots of recruitment drives by the police and corrections services and health boards,” she said.

State results shed new light on wealth vs. poverty debate.

Whether they are poor or rich, white students are scoring higher than their African American and Latino classmates on the state’s standardized tests, results released Wednesday show. And in some cases, the poorest white students are doing better than Latino and black students who come from middle class or wealthy families.

The so-called achievement gap — the difference in performance between groups of students — has long been chalked up to a difference in family income. It makes sense that — regardless of race — students whose parents have money and speak English would do better in school, on the whole, than students whose families struggle with employment, food and shelter.

But this year’s test scores show that the difference in academic achievement between ethnic groups is more than an issue of poverty vs. wealth.

It’s an interesting question, and one that I was asked today. I have pondered the question for years, and have come to the conclusion that those born after the mid to late 1960’s are not patriotic citizens by the same definition as those born prior to the 60’s. In fact, I’ve heard many 20, 30, and even 40-somethings claim that they held no particular allegiance to the United States, as they consider their country to be Imperialistic, dishonest, exploitative, and devious.

But we older citizens must realize that the younger generations have not had the benefit of time, wisdom, and many have not had the experience of warfare and soldiering. Nor have they had the benefit of an educational system that taught “Republic” vs. “Democracy.” They believe their country to be a democracy, and at the same time, know very well that it is not. They have also been raised on a steady dose of unscrupulous and lying governance, and this they know, as well.

Younger generations are not enamored with Capitalism, politics, democracy, or faith. Today’s younger generations are largely atheistic and disgusted with leadership, religion, and their lies. Sometimes we tend to think they are simply disinterested and apathetic, but the fact is, they are all too savvy when it comes to the sick joke of aristocratic governance.

The older generations, the ones who spearheaded the globalist protest movement, are also disappointed people. We were betrayed by the ones we elected — betrayed. It’s a bitter pill to swallow, because much like our younger countrymen, we did not act responsibly with our freedoms. We took them for granted, and then became enamored of televised entities, which turned out to be liars, thieves, cheaters, and conquerors. We also raised and supported the fully corrupt 2-Party system.

NEW YORK — From their relationships to their jobs to their money — even from the time they first roll out of bed — young white Americans are happier with life than their minority counterparts.

According to an extensive survey of 1,280 people ages 13 to 24 by The Associated Press and MTV, 72 percent of white youths say they are happy with life in general, compared with 51 percent of Hispanics and 56 percent of black youths.

“It doesn’t surprise me,” said Martin Carpenter, 21, a black New Jersey resident. “There’s a lot of issues out there for African-American young adults. You can still go to certain places and feel uncomfortable, like you don’t belong there.”

Martin’s feeling about racism, real or perceived, was echoed in the survey. Twenty-eight percent of minorities believe race will hurt them in the quest for a better life. Among white youths, 20 percent think their race will help in getting ahead.

Destiny Brown, 17, a black Virginia high school student, said she has friends who were passed over for work simply because their names sounded different: “I know sometimes your name — people will give you a hard time when you try to get a job.”
